11824 Alpaidze (1982 SO5) is a main belt asteroid discovered on September 16, 1982, by L. I. Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. Its name honors Galaktion Alpaidze, a Soviet military leader and chief of the Plesetsk rocket proving ground.
